To: "Reed Clark" Subject: Landslide Date: Wed, 9 Jun 2004 23:59:46 +0800 I am happy to report that I won in congressional election with another landslide, winning 64% of the votes. I defeated the incumbent mayor of our city, Paranaque City. My son Rico also won in the City Council election, coming out no. 2 out of eight winners. This is now my fourth term as congressman, having served before for three consecutive terms, each won by equivalent landslide victories. We have a three-term limit in the Philippines and as you know, during the period in between terms, I served as a cabinet member, being the National Security Adviser of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo who herself is sure of getting reelected.
