(You do not have to be a member, but it is highly recommended.)

In order to do online registration for a reunion, vote in a poll or obtain information from the “Alumni Only Section”, you have to be registered. The following quote is from the "Alumni Only Section": "The Alumni Only section is available for all alumni of USNA, both Grads and Non-Grads. Portions of the Alumni Only section are specifically for members of the USNA Alumni Association. There are many advantages to being a member. You can read about them." Life Membership has even more and better benefits. Your Class leadership strongly encourages you to become a Life Member.

How to Register. If you receive Shipmate, go to www.usna.com and then to the Alumni Only Section. Click on Register at the top of the page. You will need a Username and Password. This requires your Shipmate Register Number and PIN. The line above your name on the label has six numbers, a space and four more numbers. The first six numbers are your Shipmate register number and the next four are your PIN. Pick a username and provide this information. Then you will receive a password via email. Scroll down the page for this and more information in greater detail.

If you do not receive Shipmate, you will need to contact Membership Services at (410) 295-4027 (Jodie Collins) Email: jodie.collins@usna.com or (410) 295-4026 (Rhonda Barnett) Email: rhonda.barnett@usna.com. If you call, they will ask a couple of questions to verify it is you, and then they will provide your Shipmate register Number and PIN Number. Then you can register, and finish the process to establish your Login and Password. If you use email, please provide your Full Name, Class Year, and Current Address.

Updating your Profile. After you have registered please go the Alumni Only Section and Update Your Profile. It is located at the top of the Alumni Only Section. Please update your profile as the class will be using this as our database due to the amount of time and effort required to accurately maintain one by a member of the class. This information is ,of course, also used by the Alumni Association and Naval Academy Foundation. In June 2005 you will be able to opt in or out for the various services provided by the Alumni Association and Foundation. At the minimum we need you to update your e-mail address and the company you were in at graduation or would have been in at graduation.

We will then be able to contact you using the class email capability offered by the Alumni Association, and your Battalion/Company Representative will also be able to reach you with useful information.
