NEWS FLASH FROM BILL JENKINS – This is the ultimate 2008 New Year’s resolution about getting in shape! Bill and 2 friends are planning a bicycle ride across the country. The route will be along the northern tier of the U.S. starting from Whidbey Island, WA (mid June) and ending in Bar Harbor, ME (whenever-2 months?). The route will take them along Hwy 20 (WA), US 2 (ID-MT-Glacier-ND-MN-WI), US 10 (WI-MI), Ontario, upstate NY (Niagara), VT, NH, and ME. 3 ways you can help:
1. Support our fundraising effort through the Livestrong Foundation at www.livestrong.org/grassroots/cycleusaforhope (use Patrick Henneghan, Plover, WI).
2. Contact me if you or anyone you know may be able to support us logistically along our route (gonavy@charter.net).
3. Pray for our safety and the health of this aging 60 year old! Thanks to all my classmates for the support.
