"We will all soon have the opportunity to vote for trustees to our Alumni Association.  For those of you who live in the central region, I highly recommend Alex Plechash '75.  Alex has been very active in alumni affairs as President of the Upper Midwest Chapter.  He has been especially helpful in helping me to coordinate my bicycling trip across the U.S. this coming summer.  Alex has been in contact with alumni across his area of influence and I have been able to start logistical planning for the portion of my trip that passes through Minnesota.  Based on my contacts with Alex and the chapter columns that I have read in Shipmate Magazine, I believe Alex would serve us well as a trustee.  You can read more about Alex at http://www.usna.com/NetCommunity/Page.aspx?pid=4202&srcid=4206.
