A small delegation of USNAAA Philippine Chapter members visited Roberto "Bobby" Lim, USNA '42, in his Pasay City residence to cheer him up and exchange sea stories. Bobby, the Grand Old Man of the USNAAA Philippine Chapter, celebrated his 90th birthday last February 5 and was recently in the ICU but fought back like a true barnacled sailor and is now back in good spirits, grinning from beam to beam as can be seen in the photos. Present were Roy Golez '70, Chapter President, Chuck Agustin '60, Hanna Alerta '04 and Vice Admiral & Philippine Navy Chief Ferdinand Golez (a USNA Dad, his son Raymund Golez is USNA Class of 2003). Others present during the lunch were Bobby's children Nieves Lim and Tom Lim and brother Ting Lim, USMA '45, a woop who found himself overwhelmed by the Blue and Gold delegation. The lunch ended with the usual "Beat Army!" cheer.
